I did see The Changeling, and liked it... I thought it should have won an Oscar for production design. But although Angelina Jolie did a fine job playing the mother, I couldn't quite forget that I was watching her trying to "stretch" a bit. It's not her fault, but that's the price an actress pays for super-stardom.

By the way, I also thought that casting John Malkovich as the clergyman was very shrewd, because I always expected him to turn corrupt before the end of the film... It added another dimension to the film's suspense.

I can also recommend The Changeling, Eastwood's other recent movie if you haven't seen it. When I watched it, I was convinced they'd taken a lot of liberties with the real story and it was just too far fetched to be true, but from what I've read since, the story is pretty much told as it happened which makes it a truly fascinating story of public pressure and corruption.
