		<description>Unfortunately the natives are quite hardy when it comes to putting up with snow, so even on those rare occasions when they cancel school for the younger students, they usually leave the University open.

In Hawaii, of course, school was never canceled for weather-related reasons.  So you had to come up with your own reasons... like surf&#039;s being WAY up.</description>

		<description>I hate snow... so I live in California. But I have to admit I remember feeling such joy whenever we had a snowday off from school when I was a kid.  It was thrilling to listen to the radio to hear the announcement of school closings, and finally hearing that your school was closed....ah, what a great feelin!</description>
